The Long Road

When the first came to class and saw that the first paper was on a theory of writing, I knew that it was going to be a long year.

For the first paper my old ways of procrastination seemed like the only way that it could be done. That obviously did not work.

I tried and tried to sit down and do it but nothing seemed to work. I kept giving up every time I tried.

One day everything seemed to fall into place and the paper came together, I thought I was on top of the world! When I got my grade back I thought it was an absolute miracle!

I got myself after many years into a great writing cycle that included revision and work shopping! That was the first time that I actually would go out of my way to do so.
