Tone

Τ0ΝΣ

Tone: is the writers emotion towards the material and how they want to get it across to their audience.

Tone is depicted in every way that people communicate.

In order to show the audience how the piece is supposed to effect them, the tone is a critical point to focus on.
Although genre is a very important part of connecting with your audience,
if you use a tone that is inappropriate for that genre, there is no chance in getting the readers to understand your state of emotion.

If i were to write an apology letter,

I WOULD NOT BE WRITING LIKE THIS!!!

The tone would throw off the writers emotion no matter how well the content is written.
