Creative

Being creative to me is showing your personality or feelings through something your passionate about such as art, dance, writing, or music. In my case, it would be writing. I've always enjoyed writing; no matter in what way. Whether it be writing a note, papers, stories, and blog entries. And ENC1102 has helped me open up my personality more and be able to express my feelings in the writing we have done over the course of the semester.

"Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine, and at last, you create what you will." - George Bernard Shaw

In Steve Johnson's "Where Good Ideas Come From?" video (not reading), he starts out with just one drawing on a whiteboard, then eventually expands and branches out to make one big and detailed drawing that eventually created an idea. He used drawing as a way of showing his creativity and a different way of looking at things in perspective. Whereas, Paul Austere used creativity to tell a story within his story in "Why I Write". He told his audience the story of how he got into writing. And for all we know that story could have been a complete fabrication and could have been a complete false story. And if that is true then he created something believable and creative enough for the world to see. Then Mark Zuckerberg was born. He created Facebook! It's one of the most popular visited websites/ social networks in the world. And he created it, in his dorm room in college. I'm sure Zuckerberg imagined what would happen when this became a world wide phenomenon. He imagined his creation, and created what he desired.

BEV SHOTS

Above, creators, have taken alcoholic drinks, or regular beverages and dried them out and put them under a certain light microscope and took pictures of the images they saw. Above these pictures are of Champagne (right) and English Pure Brewed Lager (Left). When I first came across these pictures, I was amazed because I thought they were so creative and absolutely genius to put into a dorm room or an entertainment.

5,6,7,8!

Be creative in any shape or form that you can. There is always a reason or a way to express how your feeling. Writing is one of the most common ways to be creative because there are so many different outlets to writing. You can use Blogs, facebook updates, websites, and papers to be as creative as you want without any one ever judging you.
